QuickTime and DotNet 2003

I got an iPod Shuffle for free on Saturday. It was like this: I did some shoppings at a Safeway, their system choose me randomly to get a gift.

I wanted to install iTunes on my laptop. ITunes need also QuickTime. So I tried to install QuickTime. This screwed up my .NET 2003 - so I was no more able to use Visual Studio 2003.

Nothing helped. Our system administrator uninstalled QuickTime. He restored the operating system (Windows XP) from a previous version. He reinstalled .NET. H tried to repair Visual Studio.

The only way heI solved was to uninstall the Visual Studio 2003, then to uninstall the .NET 1.1, then to reinstall .NET 1.1, then to reinstall Visual Studio.NET 2003.

Now everything seems to be fine again. Only I need to find out how to fit the iPod in my system.
